What to Feed Your Lamb on the Day of the Show
· 1-2 weeks prior to the show hay allowance should be reduced to one handful a day to reduce the appearance of hay belly, this also allows for proper function of the rumen
· Adjust grain for reduced hay allowance
· The night before the show - remove all water and give a small amount of grain

The day of the show - withhold
water, depending on weather conditions, and give
access to a small amount of grain
· After the show give the lame full access to water
·
If it is a really hot on the
day of the show cool your lamb by placing a damp
cloth on its back
