Purdue University is very lucky to have
many of the state associations located on campus. More specifically, the regulatory agents
as well as supporting associations which govern many of the livestock and poultry
operations are located in the appropriate departments at Purdue University. This physical
location works very well in fostering a unique relationship(s) between scientists and
associations. Two associations which are very important to poultry researchers at Purdue
and to Indiana are the Indiana State
Egg Board and the Indiana State Poultry
Association. I would encourage you to visit their sites to
learn about their role(s) in poultry operations.
