We are beginning a feasability study of inland, intensive, closed-circuit fresh-water aquaculture in deep South US (FL, AL, GA, etc), with expectation to develop the facility within two years. One of the species we are considering is American eel, based on increasing demand and decreasing capture production. I would appreciate any information, particularly based on experience, from growers or researchers or, especially, processors.
